Install Node.js on Fedora Linux
Note that Node.js doesn't really have an "install" step like you're implying. We just distribute a tarball, it's the distribution's responsibility to install it appropriately. We don't control Fedora's Node.js package. I suggest filing an issue with Fedora.
P.S. If you try running bash -x
, you can trace the commands run during startup and see when it hangs. An issue with your configuration seems more likely than an issue with Fedora's packaging.

Sorry, I didn't investigate this issue enough and it was not a case for opening a bug report, but your clue helped me to find the root of problem.
So, if anybody else will have similar situation, try to reset PATH by using command PATH=$(getconf PATH)
and after that restart terminal or apply configuration by running source ~/.bashrc
.
