What to do about a mailing list? about node

So, the node mailing list really isn't about core, and hasn't been for some time. Previously, there was a list just about core, called nodejs-dev, but @ry killed it in favor of just using GitHub issues.

The current "nodejs" email list serves some purpose, although that purpose escapes me, but we're working on alternatives at node-forward in the help repo and accomanying gitter room.

I'm sure that Forrest will poke his nose in soon and provide better clarity, but I don't think this is something for core (iojs) to handle, and is better delegated to the community at large.

If anyone will ever need a google group on iojs.org domain - just ping me, I own the dns records.

If the masses burgeon in their clamor for an io.js mailing list, we can create one, but I think that the current nodejs list is probably serving its purpose adequately.

@mikeal some people just prefer email over other forms of communication. The [nodejs] community is small but healthy, and it's unquestionably helpful and useful for the people using it.

I think this issue has run its course and the conclusion is that no action is required at this time? I'll go ahead and close it.
