I suggest renaming the ports:

  • speed: size? width? period?
  • frame: offset

Yes I think we should rename frame to offset. I think however that it may be a good idea to assume a default "speed/size/period" of, say, 100. It's just a hunch but I think it would be less complicated for the user to work with. Plus it would still be possible to map incoming/outgoing values to other ranges with the convert_range node.
