This was an API mistake when we created the node.

However it is not possible to fix this without breaking all existing networks that rely on the port being named "shapeB".

I see two solutions:

• Create a conversion script that runs when opening ndbx files and fixes these issues: however what do we do with people who have overriden the behavior of the existing compound node?
• Add a label to ports so that we can at least show a different name, while keeping the internal name.

Oh, I thought the ports already had the label vs. internal name functionality you just described.. that seems like the best solution.

This is fixed in NodeBox 3. Issues like this in the future will be fixed using internal conversion scripts.
