It's hard to tell what is wrong without seeing the whole entity or what you are doing with the entity.
On a first glance, you can not create index in NitriteId
field. This field is to retrieve the underlying id of the document which is always auto-generated.
Also, you should either use @Id
or @Index
on a particular non-NitriteId field(s).
After this change if the issue is still not resolved, please provide a small reproducible code.

Thank you for fast reply. I'm debugging the code, I have nested NitriteDocuments and probably this is the problem. Because I'm calling entity converters for nested field in write method and it produces another Document:
@Override
public Document write(NitriteMapper mapper) {
Map<String, Object> map = new HashMap<>();
map.put("id", id);
map.put("otherField", mapper.tryConvert(otherField, Document.class));
return Document.createDocument(map);
}
I will try to find out how to sort this.

Are you indexing otherField
? If not, then probably that is not the source of the error. The error happened in single field indexer. So look into your indexed fields while debugging the issue.

You're right, thank you very much. I've removed @Index from this complex field and it's working.
