Been spending my day on this. :)
I don't get the same results, I always have cowboy getting a lot more requests/s (1.5 times misultin) but at the same time I get some timeouts or odd errors (less than 0.1%). I'm not sure what causes them or how to solve them, it's not Cowboy itself closing the connection AFAIK. Still looking into it.

Replied in the comments there. Apparently just a simple tweak fixes it.

I believe the last commits fixed the issue. However I'll wait and see if Roberto can try again with them and confirm before closing this ticket.
