@nikoksr I can pick up this as well, I've used varanbeno/go-reddit quite a bit.

Ah yeah thanks, I ran into that on a pet project I'm working on. I'm sure you came across the fix but you have to disable HTTP2 in the HTTP client. From Go 1.17 it was enabled by default and it doesn't play nicely with the Reddit API for some reason.

As for the fork, I think this is the one you're talking about which adds the ability to do application-only OAuth. That probably isn't needed for notify since you have to send Reddit PMs from a user-authenticated session.

I've recently worked with it aswell; please consider this.

There was one actively maintained fork that fixed this issue and allowed for an alternative authentication method.
