Ok, I decided to dig around the issue pile a bit more, and I found this comment from one of them, and I tried the version of CameraPlus provided, and it worked.

Sorry about that, I should have mentioned this is a known issue in the release notes; I've now added it. Just keep in mind that the version from #43 is unofficial and isn't supported by the current Camera Plus maintainer. An official fix will be coming soon.
