I think I finally found it, I had to post here to find it 1 hour later right?
Went back to ngrx docs and found this: https://ngrx.io/guide/effects#standalone-api-in-module-based-apps
It seems like I had to declare my features in the NgModule while keeping the main state of the app in the routing:
Now everything works perfectly ... I guess you can close this issue, sorry about that!
