5.0.7: Bookmarks don't show anymore about bookmarks

I just experienced the same problem. This happend to me if the bookmark database contains certain incorrectly encoded special characters in the column "title". Only bookmarks added after the last entry that contains a wrongly encoded special character are displayed. As a german user, I sometime have the problem with an umlaut.

The "title" column is auto-filled with the <title></title> HTML-tag from the bookmarked page. There should be a check if the title-tag contains any wrongly encoded character to prevent a bad char getting into the database.

Manually replace (with the UPDATE command of sqlite3 console) the bad characters in the title column is a remedy to the problem.

i really can't reproduce this ... do you have an example with special char or smth?

any logs on browser side?

i tried umlaut with a lot of other special chars but it worked for me :s

Actually this example doesn't break the bookmark list. It is simply displayed wrongly.
