Hey @parhamr, thanks for reporting that. There's actually a PR in flight (#147) about supporting the delay method, so I'll make sure that this crash gets addressed with that.

@parhamr So I've spun up a basic Rails app on that version and I'm not seeing this out of the gate. Seems like I've got more digging to do.

Would you mind if I opened a support case on the New Relic site so we can exchange a little more detailed information there (configs and logs you might not want on github)? I'll post back here with any results, but it'll help in the debugging.

We haven't been able to duplicate this precise issue in house and don't have a good place to test it any more. Version 3.9.0.229 had significant updates to our treatment of delay, so we'll close this out and can reopen if someone else runs into it.
