Best Practice for Redis failure mgmt about dynomite

It said right there "ERR Storage: Connection refused". The client should see this error and make a decision on failover. Redis in our terminology is a Storage.

My question is a little bit outdated. The servers parameter taking a server list is a twemproxy heritage and is not used in the same way in dynomite isn't it?

In Dynomite we have one redis-server by node, no more. Am I wrong?

You are right for the time being. However, we left the way it is as we might leverage it in the future.

@mfouilleul in regards to the connection refused error if Redis is down, you need to use a side healthchecker that would take this into account and remove the node from discovery (or other dns service) such that the client can failover. Otherwise, this question seems to have been resolved. If you still have questions, please feel free to comment and we will reopen it.
