This library is used in pure PHP. If you want to use it in laravel5, you need to create a migrations of the scheme (https://github.com/nepster-web/php-mlm-matrix/blob/master/shema/matrix.sql).

Also, don't forget to install the library using composer:

"nepster-web/php-mlm-matrix": "*"

Create the necessary models for the entities (MatrixType, Matrix, MatrixUser).
