Those are temporary files, their creation is logged.
They should get cleaned up during VimLeave at the latest (i.e. when closing the editor), but also when not used anymore, which might take longer until e.g. a window is focused again.

I've seen this myself also, so there certainly is some bug/issue there.

Do you see them also after leaving Neovim?
Can you enable logging to debug this / find a way to reproduce it?
