Hey there @geniti, only vital product data is sync'd from Shopify into Sanity. I answered a similar question in depth here: #18 (comment)

FYI: Since images are needed for the native checkout experience I added a "sync images to Shopify" action within Sanity so you can click that after you've setup all your product images in Sanity 🤘

@ndimatteo Thanks for your quick answer, this helped me out! I have two additional questions:

  1. when a user buys a product, does it sync with orders dashboard in Shopify?
  2. is there a way for importing additional information like size and colors in bulk trough sheets or something similar?

thanks in advance

No problem @geniti!

To answer your other questions:

  1. Checkout and order management are all handled through Shopify. Once someone clicks "checkout" from the cart they are taken to the native shopify experience.
  2. Product options (like size and colors) are sync'd from Shopify to Sanity, so you would want to be doing that through Shopify anyways. You can use their bulk upload tools/options for that. If you want to bulk add content to Sanity for any reason you can follow their import guides here: https://www.sanity.io/docs/importing-data
