global name 'fetch_iam_role_credentials' is not defined about scout2

I upgraded my python to 3.4.1 and have resolved the above issue, but now face:

python Scout2.py --role-credentials
File "Scout2.py", line 30
print 'Error: list of Amazon Web Services to be analyzed is empty.'
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

python 3.4 created a new realm of issues, so I have reverted back to 2.7, but again face the below message:
python2.7 Scout2.py --role_credentials
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "Scout2.py", line 189, in
main(args)
File "Scout2.py", line 39, in main
key_id, secret = fetch_iam_role_credentials()
NameError: global name 'fetch_iam_role_credentials' is not defined

Here are the versions I am running:
cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
