Thank you to report this issue. This is a common problem with AppImage.
For this problem there are 3 solutions:
- chown and chmod the file
sudo chown root chrome-sandbox chmod 4755 chrome-sandbox
- you can run it directly with ( Change the label PROGRAMM_NAME )
./PROGRAMM_NAME --no-sandbox arguemnt
- enables the user namespaces feature ( This could be the best option )
sudo sysctl kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1
Use one of them and please try to run the Application again.
