I'm running few test of my own now just to replicate the issue you having. On the same note, please provide me with the version of the following:

1. PHP
2. WordPress
3. Advanced Custom Fields
4. ACF Photo Gallery

I was not able to reproduce the error you are getting. I need more information like browser, OS and any other plugins you might be using.

I tried with the information you have provided however still was not able to reproduce this issue. Will you be comfortable in giving me the source code or provide me access so that I can debug? I'm open for any suggestions.

@login2030 the issue you are facing happens in ACF Photo Gallery v1.6.3. Please download the zip copy of ACF Photo Gallery v1.6.4 from Github and try again.
