Do you still have a problem with typescript compilations? This issue could be related to missing platform-declarations.
Most probably you should first call npm install, which will install all needed dependencies and then to run tsc.

Hey!, thanks, not I just tried again and get resolved.
Any way let me say I had to stop using the plugin and implement a picker myself directly over the platform because the turn around on issues was kind of large :(
