Non-Apple Python installations break Flashlight about flashlight

Actually nevermind. I just removed it and reinstalled an older version then updated it from the app and now its working again! Thank you for your work!

actually, when i restarted my computer it stopped working again. but i switched to v.71 and its working fine. is anyone else having issues on 10.10.2? thanks

seems to work for me.
do you have any extra copies of Flashlight lying around? try deleting them.

ok i think i'm also running into that 'python' issue. I also have python 2.7.8 on my system. but when I disabled it, everything seems to be working fine. is there a work around for this? thank you.

How did you install Python 2.7.8, and how do you enable/disable it? I'd like to be able to reproduce the issue.

I installed python 2.7.8 through pyenv which I installed through homebrew.
pyenv install 2.7.8
pyenv rehash
pyenv global 2.7.8 (this enables 2.7.8 globally)
pyenv global system (this enables system python globally)
