How did you managed to get desktop version working? I can't even get the desktop browser working.

It's basically all happening in index.html and it's kind of most simple/ most basic implementation of Tesseract.js

@chris-aeviator I got it working. The thing is that I need to have a web server running instead of just open the index.html with browser.

The setup is super easy and the results are awesome. I really hope they can keep develop this library.

Although tesseract still has issues on the iphone, we've added documentation and changed the api so that this issue is no longer relevant. I'm closing this and opening a new issue about the iphone specific problem in it's place.
