UPDATE!

Changing hosting server's PHP interpreter from v8 to v7.4 let me log in.

Yet I have to discover the functionality, but the abovementioned issue should be inspected further.
If I find out something I'll let you know.

BTW, thanks for the product, I do hope it will fit my projects pretty well. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Seems like setting the interpreter to php 7.4 solved it for me too.
Thanks for this tool @mxgbr, it's a real time saver :)

JoCMS is intended and designed in such a way that it should be in the root folder. Read instructions please.

Hello there,

I am having the same issue, even though the site is SSL-secured, jocms is installed in the root directory and the installation process is completed.

I honestly have no clue what is wrong and it is driving me crazy.

It may be a stupid question, but do you see the login form? Do you have an AddBlocker active in the browser on the homepage? Please try to turn off the AddBlocker on the site. I also ask myself, are there any error messages in the Browser Developer Console? If so, please post it here - thank you.

I have no extensions in the browser and I do see the login form. It states the abovementioned text after clicking the "login" button.
And there are no error messages in the DevConsole.

Hmm that is really crazy, normally at least an error message would appear in the browser, something with which one can do something....

I visited Your website now and "maybe" I found the problem.

There is a issue with:

So try to change that icon so that it comes from a secure source or better host it by yourself.

I hope it will help you - let me know if it works please :)

Those should be the favicons that are in the jocms/core/style/favicon folder.
And it does find the favicon-32x32.png which is in the same directory.
but the src in manifest.json lacks the "jocms/core/style/favicon" path.

Okay, I am totally confused right now.
Just out of curiosity I have changed the php-interpreter back to v8 and it the cms worked pretty okay on that as well.

Honestly, I am not a coding expert, but there is no possible reason that could come to my mind.

Maybe its only because of the cache?
