The problem is probably this one: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45438932/ho-do-i-capture-ctrl-click-on-macos-with-d3js

Thanks for the prompt reply.
But using your link - there is no change. It still doesn't work.
Presumably the first click should be the first node and the second click should determine the target node? The halo just moves to the second click position. How should the source and target nodes be annotated?
Ctrl-clicking gives this:

The first selected node is the source node, the second the target node.
Ctrl need to be clicked to select multiple nodes.
I assume it is bug. I will try to get hold of an OSX system.

Anyway, do you use Safari or Firefox? In case you use Safari, could give Firefox a try. This would help to narrow down the problem. Firefox also has a developer console that could show possible errors.

I was able to test Safari (11.1.1) and Chrome (67) on MacOS (10.13.5). Ctrl+click does not work, but Cmd+click does.

First selected node is the source, all additional selected nodes are targets.

ok, I will close the issue since project was rewritten and the display part is a separate project (https://github.com/mwarning/GraphViewer).
