D2DX / cnc-ddraw / dxvk / d2gl about d2launcher

Looks like I've got it working with cnc-draw here were the steps.

Drop the cnc draw zip into diablo 2 install folder
you can run the cnc config directly from your folder if you have a .wine prefix in your home directory.

on the cnc draw github it says for linux you need to overrider ddraw for the wincfg
I boot wincfg through the d2launcher settings
type it in and click add. I left it on native then built in (shrug)

in the d2launcher config there is d2_args change from -3dfx to -ddraw
then run diablo 2 from d2launcher

That was pretty much it. I'm able to use alt+enter to change fullscreen to window and unlock the mouse from the screen using the cnc config.exe

Please give me feedback or improve upon my method.

I had to check out this other project you mentioned which was ddraw/glide to opengl and also notice a widescreen patch. I'll have to check this out sometime and let you know how it works along side your patcher.

@GnomeBeans Thank you, I can confirm that it works well. In next release, ddraw settings and an option to run custom exe file inside from wineprefix will be added.

Thanks that is awesome to hear you will implement this officially. On the d2gl project I've noted that on the medianXL discord they've stated it only works for single player only "crashes on TSW" (not sure what that is)

The features (ddraw settings & run exe) are implemented in the new release: 3.6.3
