My suggestion would be that the BindableLayoutBuilder has another method to specify the viewtype depending on the Item and position, something like:
public interface BindableLayoutBuilder<T, Q extends BindableLayout> {
Q build(@nonnull ViewGroup parent, @nonnull Mapper mapper, @nonnull Class aClass, T item);
int viewType(@nonnull ViewGroup parent, @nonnull Mapper mapper, @nonnull Class aClass, T item);
}
from smart-adapters.
You are right, I will give this a thought when I come back from holidays
and have an actual computer to fix it. Good catch, I did not remember this
when I wrote that statement 😅
