Not a problem!

I'm using the docker cask from Homebrew on OSX. I believe it installs the "Docker Desktop for Mac" app. You can increase the resource cap by Preferences>Resources>Memory and bumping up the slider.

I came across this comment on a related issue: https://github.com/KULeuven-COSIC/SCALE-MAMBA/issues/20#issuecomment-599435802

I'll try increasing memory on the docker container and see if it works.

I tried: $ docker run -it -m 16g --rm scalemamba and still got terminations. I still suspect it is a resource usage problem in Docker.

Increasing the memory cap worked. Apparently on OSX, the Docker application's preferences supersede the flags specified on the command line.

Please consider adding a note to the README that the Docker container needs a minimum of 8gb (and probably more to be safe) to run mult3 with 2 parties and full threshold secret sharing.

Thanks for the note. We used to recommend full threshold but changed the recommendation to Shamir for security reasons. Didn't realize there was an ambiguity.

How did you increase the memory cap on OSX?

I have another question.
Is there any limitation for parameter modulus when choosing Shamir.
When I use other number, the program always terminated.

I think I know the problem, it should be a prime number
