You can click a single item to mark as read.
It would be great for items to be marked as read on scroll though, like Reader does.

I'm interested in marking a single article as unread.
I didn't realize I had to click each article to mark them as read. I assumed that if I clicked on an article, that article and all those above it in the list (i.e., newer than it) would be marked as read.
Either way, once you've marked an article as read I can't seem to find a way to mark it as unread. This would/will be even more of an issue if you can mark articles as read by scrolling pass them.
