`discover` should be able to take a path about gr

+1 to this suggestion. Also, the command line discover should not die when running into a error: EACCESS permission denied issue, it should just skip it.

+1 same here because my home dir has some files that gr doesn't like. I shouldn't have to modify my files to use gr.

I'd also love to be able to provide a path to discover. If nobody on the project objects I'd be happy to take a stab at the path argument. Would people want discover to take a single argument, space separated list of arguments, something else?
