A nice idea! I could imagine different approaches.
- Just sort the list of contributors by the date of their last contribution in descending order.
- Show the date of the last contribution behind the username.
- Split the contributors into two lists:
a) "Our thanks for contributions made in the last twelve months go to:"
b) "Our thanks also for the many previous contributions made by:"
from action-contributors.
