Yeah, cloning (and downloading everything again) fixes the problem.

For me, this happened tonight, and last time I build a firmware was v1.0.7 somewhere.

I'm having the same issue with V1.0.8 and V1.0.9 while attempting to build from a WSL ubuntu 22. And if I try to build directly from buildroot I receive the following:

In a ubuntu VM it seems to be working just as intended

In the end, I had no choice, so I used the docker image to compile
