And it looks like there's even more breaking changes coming with 0.3.0 :D
I'm going to shoot for updating the tutorial once 0.3.0 comes out.

Yes it will be updated periodically, and definitely will be once M.I.W comes out of preview. Since they are still in preview, breaking changes in versions are likely, and it sounds like maybe that's what you're seeing.
Can you provide detail on what's not working? Does it not compile? Are there run-time errors?

The application successfully signs me in. But I am unable to see my info on the login partial.

@adagioajanes hopefully this fix should get you going with the 0.3.0-preview version. After you upgrade, you might still see the empty login partial if you still have cookies in your browser. If that's the case, sign out, then sign back in.
