It is the name of the package control package that causes this error. If you remove the .js part of the package name, it'll work. At least it did for me.

Can you please confirm it is still happening in build 3033.
Because, I can't reproduce this error. Are you using Package Manager, version for ST3?

The error appears in ST3 build 3035 with Package Control v2.0.0 alpha6.
