luckily enough this is just a matter of order:
app.get('/something/right'); // works
app.get('/something/:else'); // matches /something/wrong
app.get('/something/wrong'); // will never be reached
from hub.
Yeah it works now, after I used the correct order.
I don't know the state of the art REST design principles. But is it a good idea to occupy potential id's? In our specific case it's not a problem since doc id's will be shas for the time being. However in future you'll be able to give away names for your document so we could have:
/users/michael/documents/hello-world
and if I decided to name my document "statuses" this would not work.
=>
/users/michael/documents/statuses
from hub.
