@yingning i am facing the same issue. can you please elaborate what do you mean by that statement?
Also, I am wondering was this issue resolved?

I cloned original caffe from <github.com/BVLC/caffe.git>
did the following export PYTHONPATH=/path/to/caffe/python

this was how the demo.py was able to import caffe
