Apologies for the delay. We've updated metlo for python (now 0.0.16) with some more error checks, so the errors shouldn't affect the flow, but would still get logged if something goes wrong. In addition, there's a DISABLED option in METLO_CONFIG so that you can disable it during development or testing. More information is available in our docs.
