I'm also experiencing the same issue with Telescope, it doesn't work on Ubuntu 64 bit but everything works on Mac.
All my servers are debian based and they all fail at starting.
Is there anything you can recommend?

Hey I solved this by changing the version number from 2.5.0 to 2.11.2 in the file .meteor/versions

It seems like in Telescope at least, Meteor didn't want to update Kadira beyond 2.5.0. Specifying the version manually seems to solve the issue.
