I see what happened: I accidentally clicked on a deeplink button while using the inner-browser
from metamask-mobile.

re-opening as this needs to be investigated further - @pnarayanaswamy also encountered it
- we should see how to handle such cases, as now the wallet is un-usabled
- we should see if this is happening in other flows - seems it might be the case
from metamask-mobile.
