Hello @Melvin-Abraham, I don't think the 'duplicate' label is appropriate because if you add an option to change the shortcut, like Win + C, it won't override the Cortana shortcut. And like I said, it's not just for the shortcut but to deeply integrate the Google Assistant into the operating system like launching apps by telling Google Assistant "Hey Google, open Photoshop".

@regisandre Actually, system level functions like opening apps would be more complicated to put together considering this application is cross-platform. Also, one part of this issue is similar to the other issue that I mentioned, since you also want to remap the hotkey to "Win + C" instead of "Win + Shift + A" which is totally doable but still the second part seems to be out-of-scope for now but could be considered for later.

I'm not a dev, but I think there are ways this could be done without complicating the application.
I don't see why requests like 'raise the volume' or open 'app' couldn't be intercepted and passed through to a platform-specific plugin or an ordinary assistant skill couldn't be used to trigger the actions. Skills like Tasker and IFTTT already do this by interfacing with an app on the target device that can complete the request. If one doesn't already exist, there should be a skill for pc control.
