You need to re-declare the parent's class dependencies:

@Inject('$http')
class Parent {
}

// You need to re-inject $http event if you don't use it
@Inject('$http', '$q')
class Child extends Parent {
}

It gets very messy with constructor:

@Inject('$http', '$q')
class Child extends Parent {
  // You only need to declare the parent's dependencies
  constructor($http) {
    super($http)

    this.somePromise = this.$q.when("someValue")
  }

}

For this reason, it may be better to use the $onInit instead when sub-classing controllers:

// You still need to inject the parent's dependencies.
@Inject('$http', '$q')
class Child extends Parent {
  $onInit() {
    this.somePromise = this.$q.when("someValue")
  }

}

Alternatively, you could probably inject $injector in you child class and use it to initialize the parent class (not tested). This is how this plugin should work imho.

@Inject('$injector', 'myService')
class Child extends Parent {
  construct ($injector) {
    super.call(this, super.$inject.map((e) => $injector.get(e)))
  }
  doStuff() {
    return this.myService.doStuff()
  }
}
