Check input/output format, it should be 48kHz, 16bit.
Also make correct settings in rocksmith.ini

I have the output format at that sampling rate and resolution, but I'm not sure where I can specify the input format. Where can I find what the correct settings should be in rocksmith.ini?

You can set input and output format in control panel in driver settings OR "sound" applet.

I have set my playback accordingly, but I think my problem may be the recording settings. I am using an AKAI EIE Pro, and this is the only configuration panel I have access to. Have you encountered this before from other users? Many thanks. [image: Inline image 1]

I see your clock rate is 44.1 kHz, but It should be 48 kHz.
Is there way to set it in Line-In properties?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Unfortunately there's no way of adjusting the sampling rate for Line In. It seems to rely on each DAW to control this. [image: Inline image 1]

Uninstall the drivers and delete them, theu use windows driver, not the one tha tcame with the interface

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a driver included with Windows 10. After uninstalling the Akai driver the device was no longer available.

I've noticed that it uses its oen Asio driver, but still, via Device Manager in windows should pick up some generic driver. Otherwise you may need to play asis or look for a cheap usb cable that can do 16bit and 48k.
