Hi there and thanks for the preference! really appreciate it :-)
Just a quick tip: did you try to restart the JavaScript server when you installed the package? It looks like metro bundler cannot find the index.js file while the file exists in this lib. metro bundler cannot always resolve new added things and sometimes needs a restart.
If you are still experiencing the issue do you have this repository of yours public? I can use it to try reproduce the issue :)
