How to ignore delimiters like '\\[' .. '\\]', '\\(' ..'\\)' which I need for post processing Math equations like MathJax and KaTex javascrips

To add to the above, I was hoping for something like:
marked.parse(text).ignoreDelimiters( [ {left: "$$", right: "$$", display: true}, {left: "$", right: "$", display: false}, {left: "\\(", right: "\\)", display: false}, {left: "\\[", right: "\\]", display: true} ]

from marked.

You can create a custom extension that just renders them as text so you can do post processing.

Or you can create a custom extension that does the processing while parsing markdown. For an example you can look at marked-katex-extension, or other known extensions.
