Please add notes:
First part of sorting out display for small screens
I added a comment to a route but it gets cut off after the first apostrophe "Couldn't make…", so I suspect there is a problem with the javascript interpreting the quote as part of the code?
GPS track on:

Probably going to be a big problem in other files as well for non-English installations
Allow the user to select a control number so that mass start replay starts from there.
Some files have a trailing ; in the list of splits, which expand to a null field and looks like an extra control
Probably need to do this by course. May also want to do it for the Track column.
iPad is a bit sensitive to pinch zoom out so we need to set a minimum zomm level
Need something like index.php?id=123
Probably a bit of personal preference, but I think the smoothness theme is more neutral and will blend with alternate colour schemes (if people edit the css to match their club colour).
If an event has no controls defined (e.g. street score) then the GPX file gets fitted to a very small area. Need to take account of map size rather than bounding box for controls.
Hide various bits of HTML until script has loaded fully.
Sometimes the sarjojenkoodit_X file does not exist so there are no control codes available. This disables the "display all controls" function and replay by control.
Generate dummy control codes in this case.
Too difficult to see. Whole approach to selection of colours could be rethought, but removing yellow is a good start.
Spent a long time playing with touch-punch.js and getting nowhere. Never worked out why.
Then moved to hammer.js. This is now working reasonably OK so is definitely the short-term solution. May still need further refinement in future.
JQuery-UI has touch on the long-term development list so that may be the best way forward.
I set up a new event on the BASOC RG and 2 GPS routes and 2 hand drawn added. Now when you open the page the tabs for that event are greyed out. If you select another event and then look at it, then go back to the latest one it remembers the tab info from the previously viewed event.
I've uploaded a new gadget for the latest event to see if that fixes it.
I've left the old one so you can see the problem.
The only thing I did that was unusual was to edit the kilpailijat text file on the server to correct a name.
May make sense to only display them when on the Results tab. Could include an option at a later stage.
Allow display of comments that have been entered.
Support TCX file format for GPS upload
This will make it more obvious that something is happening since the "Map loading" text will be displayed on a grey background.
When replaying an event display the track and then replay the route. The colour of the dots doesn't match the colour of the associated track.
If you start a replay, and then change event, then the replay button text
doesn't change to stop. It should change to "run" display state when you change event.
Need to think about best way to do this, but it is going to be needed at some point.
We have one example where a route was saved correctly but all x and y co-ordinates are set to 0, so nothing shows up on the display. See BAOC event #74, id 50099. This was created via a GPX upload, but the same file was then retried and worked correctly.
Front end was safari 6.1.1 on mac osx lion 10.7.5 which may or may not be relevant.
No real idea what this is at present, but migh be worth collecting browser/OS info if it happens again just in case.
Select Name on "Draw" tab displays an & in a name in html format, "&"
Change internal event ID to kartat ID in the links on the event tab. This guarantees that the ID will not change in future (e.g. if internal event list is reordered). API call already uses kartat ID so that is OK.
Routes uploaded don't show.
The course show on results tab I think is defaulting to the first runner.
If you want to see some score events try http://www.omm.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/
Turns out that IE is caching the JSON requests when I thought it was disabled on each individual call. Anyway, turning it off globally solves the problem.
The button looks more like a logo and not obvious what it does.
Time offset needs to be calculated for each runner, not just last runner in loop.
