Hey @rmalchow, this is an interesting one here! I wish I had more knowledge on what the differences could be here as I've never built my own Node or installed MailDev in a LXC container before. I'm not quite sure where it's failing here as it's logging "Saving email..." which means the email file should have been written and pushed into the in-memory email store array. I'm perplexed by why there is no error being thrown.

If you're familiar with Node inspector, it would be awesome if you ran the executable then ran the ./test/send.js script. Before refreshing the web UI, add a breakpoint where when done is called in getAllMail here: https://github.com/djfarrelly/MailDev/blob/master/lib/mailserver.js#L240. I'm curious if there is any data in the store array. The scope variables should look like this:

I'm sorry that this isn't working for you as it should be just fine in your setup. Please let me know if you have any more info!

I'm going to close this one up for now as I haven't seen more reports of this. It may have to do with the temp folder library, I'm not quite sure. If anyone has this issue again I'll gladly re-open!
