Hello, I'm Maharshi๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm a senior software engineer with a passion for crafting scalable distributed systems and leveraging the power of JavaScript and TypeScript to build robust applications. My expertise lies in designing and implementing solutions that thrive in distributed environments, with a particular focus on Node.js and Nest.js frameworks. Holding an AWS Solutions Architect certification, I enjoy architecting cloud-native applications that seamlessly integrate with AWS services

๐Ÿ”ง Technologies & Expertise

  • Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Frameworks & Technologies: Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
  • Distributed Systems: Designing, implementing, and scaling distributed systems for resilience, high availability and fault tolerance

๐ŸŽ“ AWS Certification

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect: [Associate] - Leveraging AWS services to architect scalable and resilient solutions.

๐Ÿ’ผ Current Focus

  • Currently diving deeper into Typescript, Nest.js as well as exploring new possibilities in distributed computing and cloud architecture.

Feel free to connect with me on https://www.linkedin.com/in/maharshi-shah1996ms/ for further discussions and collaborations!

If you want to improve these best practices in any way please don't hesitate to create a pull request.

os_project1 icon os_project1

The purpose of this project is to use the concept of shared memory and the problems that can occur if shared memory is not protected adequately.

os_project2 icon os_project2

The purpose of this project is to experiment with process synchronization mechanisms. The main goal is to protect the critical section using semaphores.

os_project3 icon os_project3

The purpose is to learn how to use semaphores to protect a limited size resource. A circular buffer with 15 positions (each position stores 1 character) is to be used to communicate information between two threads (producer and consumer).

page-replacement-algorithms icon page-replacement-algorithms

This project evaluates how applications respond to a variety of page replacement algorithms. A memory simulator is built to evaluate memory performance using traces from real or simulated applications. Code written for FIFO, LRU, LFU, MFU, and Optimal page replacement.
