One really useful tool is called usbmon. With it you should be able to see the input and output for the BT device. If you have some other BT device, you should be able to compare the data.

The other possibility is to use wireshark to observe the data in the air between the rtl8723au_bt and the device.

Thanks for your suggestion. We will try with the monitor stuff. Unfortunately none of us are the expert on these stuff. Do you mind to receive one of our unit and have a look at this issue? You can see the device at radxa.com

If you want to ship a unit to me, I will try to determine what is wrong. Send me E-mail at [email protected] and I will send you a shipping address.

Any news on that issue?

at last i found this seems a issue with the usb driver(dw_otg) inside rk3188, not the bt driver itself.

Did you raise an issue for this? Could you please point me to it?

I have heard of other users having trouble with the USB driver on ARM, but I do not know any details. If there is no other response here, I will make some inquiries.

FYI, there is a new 'kernel' branch that has code that will be in kernel 3.21. It handles the Realtek devices just like any other kernel device. Thus far, no changes for older kernels have been included. As problems are reported, I will fix them.
