Hi,
You can indeed execute commands in your PS1, it will not look like the mockup, but here is how you put a simple line before your prompt:
# bash.rc
# after your PS1
export PS1=$(hr)"$PS1"
from hr.

That was just a suggestion, you can always just insert $(hr)
anywhere in your PS1 declaration :).
