Refresh timing saved in a cookie about bigdesk

Hi, you can put refresh value into URL query string now, see example at http://bigdesk.org/#url_parameters or https://github.com/lukas-vlcek/bigdesk/tree/master#url-parameters (this way I have several bookmarked links on my desktop for different clusters with different settings).

But yea, cookies could be used as well. In Elasticsearch 1.0.x there are a lot of changes in REST API (especially those that Bigdesk rely on) so I plan to release major update sometime after the xmas.

Thanks for that. I did try using the refresh param in a previous version but the browser tab (Opera) kept crashing so I gave up.

you mean Opera was crashing because of the refresh param? Was it crashing without the refresh parameter as well?

It seemed to only crash when I used the refresh param.

And when you say it crash, how does it look like? I mean, do you see any errors in console or whole browser crashes or just the tab with Bigdesk? How fast does it happen? Immediately or after some time (how long)? Are you using any other URL params except the refresh? And did you try different browsers?
