Since the issue does not occur on the host, it might be a function of the container environment you're running in. The extension does not do anything special that's specific to debugging when running in a container vs. the host.

Do you have an idea that would help me narrow this down? I have the problem in the big & complex container I use at work but also in the simple one I provided in the example repository.
