I'm Lucas,

A long time robotics enthusiast, starting at age 11 I was a member of a junior engineering club called Roots2Stem. I continually worked on various projects with my last project, an electric gokart, my greatest accomplishment there. Since then, I have gone through 5 years of FIRST Robotics, becoming the programming lead for my school's team and in the final year given the role of team captain. Recently, I spent 8 months working on a humanoid robot for GoodLabs Studio.

hand-sanitizer

Automatic hand sanitizer project from grade 10. Designed during the COVID pandemic with minimizing contact of surfaces in mind. It uses a standard ultrasonic sensor for detection.

market-alarm

Code that reads email sent to an email address that contains information on which stocks to track at certain prices. It then creates threads to track the stock prices and sends an email in return when the "Market Alarm" is triggered.

rpi-plant-watering

Code for my plant watering project from grade 11. This is running on a Raspberry Pi Zero W, with 4 potentiometers and a humidity/temperature sensor. The code triggers a set of relays that control a pump for each plant. The Cron version is the simplified version of the code that runs using Linux's Cron schedular.
